Obviously this is cut to be the most glamorous explanation of M-theory, but the foundations are there: There are infinite dimensions, there may have been infinite big bangs, there may be parallel dimensions.
So, God does exist. Or more likely, infinite Gods exist and infinite Gods do not exist. Infinite species of alien beings exist, surely we are not alone in all of creation, which is just as weird as anything and just as unsubstantiated by any kind of evidence. What does it matter, really? If the odds of a golden castle appearing in front of you are 1 in Graham's number, and there are infinite dimensions, then castles have appeared somewhere in the metaverse infinite times. As if we'll ever know anything about how any of this works.
Also, Michio Kaku on ice skates.

chairsforcheap - 2013-02-22 don't you think motion should be impossible? isn't every infinitesimal movement of every atom in your body just warping into infinite dimensions? isn't that what time must be? I could have been sitting next to the real captain kirk in one of these, dude!!!! ON THE REAL STARSHIP ENTERPRISE. Im blazed

baleen - 2013-02-22 TOTALLY!!!!

Maru - 2013-02-23 Don't read baleen's post if you're too high.

WHO WANTS DESSERT - 2013-02-23 So what you're saying is that you're too "smart" for religion but still so terrified of your own mortality that you'll desperately cling to any concept of life after death so long as it sounds vaguely science-y
|
baleen - 2013-02-23 No. That's nothing like what I'm saying.

WHO WANTS DESSERT - 2013-02-22
Theoretical physics aren't science. You know, because of that whole "completely untestable" thing that makes it incompatible with the scientific method and all.

|
SolRo - 2013-02-22 Some theories are testable, many aren't. That's why it's called theoretical.
I like to think of the field as "what happens when really smart people try to quantify things beyond the ability of our technology or understanding, probably while drunk"
Baleen must be stopped!!
|
baleen - 2013-02-23 Some theories are testable, like, I don't know, the large Hadron collider is testing something. I don't know. What could it be testing? Who cares, it doesn't let me watch anime. Or does it? Who knows. Will there be tiny toon adventures in x-space?

That guy - 2013-02-22
8:01 of fluff, and an old-school poe-er 5-starring his own submission
|
|
|
baleen - 2013-02-23 I will 5 star everything that I want including your mom's homemade porn.
|
Jet Bin Fever - 2013-02-23 When you post a couple thousand more videos here, you're free to 5 star your own things too.
|
That guy - 2013-02-26 I guess I'm not filled with remorse; although chairsforcheap was articulate with his retort, so I have that to live down.
Also, I used a semi-colon, muthafukkas.

Robert Anton Wilson and Terrence McKenna are watching this with big smiles on their faces from whatever dimension they now reside in.

Jet Bin Fever - 2013-02-23
I guarantee one of these physicists has masturbated to this concept.
