Hey, it fooled me. Then again, I haven't listened to anything by Kings of Leon aside of what gets played on the radio, and that immediately gets turned off because I can't stand it, so I guess I don't really know what they're supposed to sound like. The absolutely disapproving, lost, "Man I can't do this" look of the singer and the nonchalant blowing bubblegum bubbles drummer, makes it seem extremely real.
I was getting sick of these a while back, but lately they've been more of a slow burn thing where it's jsut good enough (for a while) to make it believable if you aren't expecting it. The old ones kind of started where this one ends and that was only funny the first few times.
I saw them in Vegas about four years ago. My wife was a fan but I think "Sex is on Fire" pushed her over the edge. I've seen a lot of shitty bands with her.
I hate this band, mostly because I know of lots of British bands who do the same basic thing but so much better with a quarter or less of the following.
