If I recall correctly, the old PoE BBS that somebody or other ran for a couple years really WAS running on an old motherboard nailed to a wall.

A couple weeks ago someone on Facebook told me it wasn't just PoE, and that he quit the entire Internet some time around 2005 or 6 I think, and hasn't been back since.
