Spoony is probably the opposite of ok

Phantasmagoria 2 Let's Play respectfully disagrees. Regardless, we ca both agree that this is drek.

Yeah that one is ok, but the guy's been a shell of a man since then. His article on ED is pretty good at explaining it.

The site is mostly hit-and-miss. The Nostalgia Critic stopped being funny a long time ago, and I was glad when Doug Walker 'killed' the character..then saddened when he brought him back. Nostalgia Chick is okay. The Cinema Snob and Todd in the Shadows are pretty funny to me, though I wouldn't expect any of their videos to clear the hopper.

Spoony suffers from crippling depression, and his stuff was politely yanked from TGwtG after he had a massive Twitter meltdown. That said, I still like Spoony quite a bit, especially his recollections of tabletop asshattery in his Counter-Monkey videos. Fuck a ED.

I'm OK with one project the Cinema Snob was involved with, the Ninja The Mission Force webseries which was a not unamusing parody of low-rent cut'n'paste action movies, mainly Godfrey Ho films.

Cinema Snob's review of Debbie Does Dallas was amusing. I wasn't even aware he'd done that until I browsed his site earlier.

Fuck Spoony. I checked out one video of him playing Police Quest Swat in which he just used lines of dialogue from David Fincher's Seven, as if they applied to playing a fucking video game alone on youtube.

i haven't seen his Phantasmagoria 2, but I ask you this: is it spoony who's funny, or is it just Phantasmagoria 2?

Because I had Phantasmagoria 2 and it was a laugh riot.

Pandering to their pocketbooks. These yearly movies are made to swap fanbases to get higher viewcounts for all, all which doug gets a cut of. Sure there is a great deal of ego in it, but I doubt the fans of sarcastic internet reviewers ever wanted to see any of these people try their hand at acting.

I propose we change the name of the Internet to Colin Quinn.

Lindsay/Nostalgia Chick is successful at being innovative. Most movie reviews on the site are bit by bit breakdowns of films. I like how she looks at the overall picture and themes instead.

Oh, they are, if the TGwTG comments are any indicator. Page after page of variations of "You're sooo hot!" And then there are the MRA-ish shitheads who criticize her for claiming to be a feminist but showing too much cleavage...and nine layers of hell below THEM, whatever guy it was who drew the Rule 34 art of her eviscerated.

The worst part is that Doug Walker is very aware of it, and chose to exploit it with fanservice. Just see the Moulin Rouge review.
