I wish there was a way to stop the Scripters from exploiting a mentally ill lady for lulz, but I'm not sure if they're actually breaking any laws since they can probably argue that any deception and impersonation of actual people is just consensual role play.

Hardly. Informed Consent from the mentally ill is such a quagmire that Gail's troll would be doomed to years of legal nightmares if someone pushed the issue. Throw in some Nancy Grace, Bill O' Reilly, and mental health activists, and he might not even make it to trial (though that may be hoping for too much).

He was autistic, sure, but a lot of his behavior was fixable, inexcusable self-obsession that he was simply being allowed to indulge. Lousy parenting an zero specialist help (his parents moved school districts to avoid having him sent to a school that may have actually helped him) doomed him, but autism didn't make him a racist or a materialistic parasite. that was all him.
