Fluttershy always has the most violent fans.

Cena_mark - 2013-04-21

I hate ponies too. I've been pretending to like them all along in order to trick others here into watching the show. Gotcha Evilhomer! Now you're a lameass sissy sissy pony fan.

EvilHomer - 2013-04-22

Lameass sissy pony? I'm sorry, Cena, but you seem to be misinformed. You see, I'm a Rainbow Dash fan. But the lameass sissy pony is Applejack.

Shoebox Joe - 2013-04-22

I hate to agree here, Cena Mark, but Apple Jack was using Apple Bloom to cover her concerns like a politician during sweeps weeks. AND that was due to a zebra coming in to town!

Cena_mark - 2013-04-22

You calling Applejack a sissy? You mean the pony that destroyed a pack of timber wolves singlehoofedly? The pony that always keeps Rainbow Dash from doing stupid shit? The most hardworking and dependable of ponies?
And what the hell shoebox joe, Applejack wasn't using Applebloom for anything she was just protecting her from a perceived threat like any good sister would.

EvilHomer - 2013-04-22

I'm not calling Applejack a sissy. I'm calling her an inbred, lameass, probably-watches-Glenn-Beck, can't-even-finish-a-simple-apple-harvest-by-herself uber sissy. I'm saying that in a sissy contest, Applejack would make *Rarity* look like Bas Rutten.

Oooooh SNAP now what, pony?! Are you gonna cry like those bunnies Applejack couldn't even herd?

EvilHomer - 2013-04-22

I... I'm sorry, everpony. Applejack is a good friend to all her fellow ponies, and she scored five points off Rainbow Dash in the Iron Pony contest, which is pretty impressive, even though she still lost miserably.

I should remember the lesson that Rarity and Applejack taught us in the sleepover episode. If those two ponies can set aside their differences and still be friends, I guess I can overlook how lame Applejack is.

Please accept my apologies, Cena. Just because she's a bigger sissy than Rarity, that doesn't mean Applejack is a weak pony, or that you're a sissy too for liking her.

Cena_mark - 2013-04-22

Applejack couldn't do all the apple harvest on her own because she was helping all her friends with all the stupid things they couldn't handle on their own. And I know you're just trying to get a rise out of me by saying she's sissier than Rarity. We both know that's not true. And again AJ is the true Iron Pony as Lamebow Dash should have been disqualified for flying during the long jump.

EvilHomer - 2013-04-23

I don't know, Cena, after seeing how Rarity handled that army of Diamond Dogs, I'm beginning to suspect that Rarity is one of those secret badasses. You know, like Zatoichi, or the midget dude from Ichi the Killer who turns out to be a monster bodybuilder and breaks that one guy in half.

You're right, I am trying to get a rise out of you (WWRDD?) and I don't really think AJ is a bigger sissy than Rarity, but honestly it's a close call.

Shoebox Joe - 2013-04-23

Well if you're gonna go that way EvilHomer, then you gotta admit Fluttershy has some pretty big chops for facing up to a manticore with out knowing what its reaction would be and scolding a dragon into submission, also with no actual knowledge/lack of admitted other than just being horribly scared of them, after realizing her friends needed help.

EvilHomer - 2013-04-24

Oh, no doubt! Fluttershy is a ballsy little bitch when her friends are in the danger. I wouldn't really call her a Zatoichi, since she's normally a total scaredypony and lets everybody walk all over her, but she took on a goddamn DRAGON once the thing started hurting the other Manes. Never let it be said that I give Fluttershy less than her share of props!

oddeye - 2013-04-21

So wait, they actually really like ponies? What a twist!

EvilHomer - 2013-04-22

So I got my best friend to watch a few episodes today. Just to kill some time before GAME OF THRONES. He acted like he was too macho for it, but he laughed his ass off at every Pinkie Pie scene, and when it was over he said it was OK, better than he expected but uhhh still pretty girly, so blah blah blah. You know, the usual.

His girlfriend laughed at us and posted some pictures on Facebook. Still, he's willing to give it another shot, next time she's out of the house. I feel really terrible about doing this to him, but what the hay, if I'm going down I might as well take the world with me.

M-DEEM - 2013-04-22

Sound like an evening of uncomfortable laughter all around!

The reason it seemed pretty girly is because it is a show for children that grown men are not supposed to fetishize.

EvilHomer - 2013-04-22

I envy you, M-DEEM, you and your innocence. We were once like you, men, proud and strong, but alas, we chose the Path of the World, chose to open our eyes and walk in the light of the things beyond. We discovered too late the cost of our arrogance. Oh cursed fate! Would that I could trade the weight of my mind for the rippling bouncer-body I once possessed! Would that I could rejoin you in the Garden!

Touch not the Tree of Knowledge, friend. Carry on, for all of us, and may Celestia bless you always.

M-DEEM - 2013-04-22

If enlightenment is exhibiting behaviors that are akin to those of a pedophile, I'll only be able to sleep if the "light of the things beyond" never reaches me.

EvilHomer - 2013-04-22

That's the spirit. Stay strong. Never give up.

AVENGE ME. AVENGE ME.

The New Meat - 2013-11-13

I totally believe this really happened in real life.

EvilHomer - 2013-04-22

Oh, and as long as Shoebox is bringing up Applebloom, anyone know how many more episodes are dedicated to the Cutie Mark Crusaders? Their glam metal song was awesome, but other than that, they're getting on my nerves.

I know Hasbro has to keep introducing characters in order to sell new toys, but come ON, the CMCs are just lame "kid-insert characters", the kind that producers think will make shows more appealing to (ugh) *young* viewers. They're cheapening the show, in my opinion, and drawing in the "wrong sort of crowd".

Shoebox Joe - 2013-04-23

I wouldn't worry too much about them. They're pretty well used in terms of a "Huey, Duey and Louie" bit when they're not the main focus. There's about nine episodes that include them and that's also including if they're not the full center of the episode. Only three episodes really do that.
