60s boobs

ashtar. - 2013-04-30

I'd give them 75 or 80

Quad9Damage - 2013-04-30

This was released in 1973.

fedex - 2013-04-30

whatever

ashtar. - 2013-04-30

Like, out of 100. Some of those boobs score quite a bit better than 60.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-04-30

I always knew Elmer's Glue was an aphrodisiac.

roughnready66 - 2013-04-30

Written by Star Trek writer/director Nicholas Meyer too.

chumbucket - 2013-04-30

Amazing trailer.

DriverStabby - 2013-04-30

I can't wait for this to come out.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-04-30

If it hasn't in about ten minutes, you might want to make sure you're doing it right before you need a trip to the ER.

Quad9Damage - 2013-04-30

Everyday housewives can't also be ravishingly beautiful women?

Quad9Damage - 2013-04-30

Course in '73 I'm sure 'everyday housewives' were like Brian's Mum from Monty Python, right?

Quad9Damage - 2013-04-30

I love the use of the possessed black eyes trope. That and fat suspenders guy taking a stand against abstinence. "My old lady, or anybody else for that matter!"

fedex - 2013-04-30

yeah, like that guy just has to keep the women away with a stick

Modern Angel - 2013-04-30

On the big screen in Raleigh in July.

Nikon - 2013-04-30

There are worse ways to die.

Old_Zircon - 2013-04-30

"What salvages this somewhat unlikely plot is the movie's sense of style. It looks good, it moves fairly well, the girls are pretty, Big Bill frowns impressively and there are a lot of near s-f gimmicks. My favorite was a sort of Redi-Whip cocoon that not only turns the girls into queen bees, but gives them a facial and a hairdo at the same time."
Roger Ebert - Chicago Sun-Times

fedex - 2013-04-30

he actually reviewed this?

Old_Zircon - 2013-04-30

Yeah, he was a pretty big fan of this movie apparently. It's famous for being really high up in his "guilty pleasures" list.

"The doctor's diagnosis in each case is that the men seemed to be suffering from extreme sexual fatigue at the time of their deaths. I am not entirely sure how this diagnosis is made in an autopsy, but then perhaps I do not really want to know."

R.I.P. Ebert.

boner - 2013-04-30

I think Ebert reviewed a fair bit of porn in the late 60s or early 70s, when porno theatres were just about as mainstream as they ever got, just before home video started. For more information on porn, go to your local library.

Udderdude - 2013-04-30

This is now my fetish.

chumbucket - 2013-04-30

I am totally into wacky 60s, 70s soft core lately. I think it goes back to my early discovery of this stuff in puberty. Crazy hot women on the edge of evil insanity...and nude. Maybe I need therapy.

Old_Zircon - 2013-04-30

It's a hell of a genre. The fact that you could still at least break even on pretty much anything as long as it was full of nudity let people do pretty much whatever they wanted, so it's just a goldmine of weird, creative stuff that would never get made today. Plus cheap 16mm is the best looking format.

Old_Zircon - 2013-04-30

Plus one Doris Wishman movie says more about the human condition than all the Bergman in the world, it's just accidental and requires more effort from the viewer to unpack it.

Honestly, most 'SERIOUS' film feels pretty simplistic and pandering to me, like a TED talk (the exceptions are THE BEST though).

Old_Zircon - 2013-04-30

You should check out the SWISS MOVIE "Ich, Eine Groupie" and the accompanying behind the scenes documentary, both from 1970. It's got some great Swiss psych rock, hippie exploitation, freak outs and sexploitation, you really couldn't ask for more unless you're a gorehound.

Adham Nu'man - 2013-04-30

They even have the roving gang of gangrapists.

Nikon - 2013-04-30

The entire movie is up on youtube:

Caminante Nocturno - 2013-04-30

I remember hearing that the director of this film made it because he got a letter from a woman wishing that it would be the women killing the men for a change, and that the men would be the ones helpless and screaming in terror for once.

Old_Zircon - 2013-04-30

I always assumed he made it because OMG WOMEN'S LIB RUN AWAAAY!!!!!!

I mean, that's pretty much the plot.

Caminante Nocturno - 2013-04-30

The number of mid-to-low budget movies from that time with that plot is probably in the low thousands.

Old_Zircon - 2013-04-30

Incidentally, the alternate title for this movie (the one I first found it sold as on DVD) is "Graveyard Tramps."

Charon - 2013-04-30

More like Invasion of the C and Not Quite a D Girls.

BHWW - 2013-04-30

This is EXACTLY what the horrific "fake geek girls" you've heard so much about are up to,

Jet Bin Fever - 2013-05-01

BIG NATURALS.
