Yes, CNN did the misleading split window thing (because it looks more "exciting" than just having two women standing next to each other in a parking lot), but this snafu got plenty of mainstream attention beyond the lunatic tinfoil hat fringe.

Hate to break it to anyone, but just because a lot of people caught CNN in a minor gaffe doesn't make the other crackpot conspiracy theories your Youtube channel promotes any more credible.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-05-09

That said, I wonder if CNN could regain viewership and respect if it ditched the talking heads stuff and just became what they started out as: Headline News.

24 hour cable news channel should be, at best, like a global police scanner that gives you a basic idea of what's going on NOW, which then lets you go off and find more in-depth sources for what interests you rather than non-stop speculation and "analysis" from someone who knows about as much as the headline reader.

Nobody can fill that much air time with actually relevant facts on something that's just now happened. Any news channel is just opening itself up for misinformation, gaffes, and things they have to correct later by doing all of this junk by the seats of their pants.

EvilHomer - 2013-05-09

They should just abolish cable news altogether and replace the newly liberated channel slots with brightly-colored placards, directing viewers to LiveLeak.

Cube - 2013-05-09

Idiocracy missed this one.

Your tags suck and you should feel bad for having used them. otherwise good video to upload.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-05-09

What are you interfering about his tags?

EvilHomer - 2013-05-09

nancy dis-grace-ful is an excellent tag and I hope to see it linked.

RocketBlender - 2013-05-10

O really hope to see more from "when news interfers with ratings," preferably a correctly spelled version.

memedumpster - 2013-05-09

Every single MSNBC interview is split screen in the same studio sponsored by Cisco who demands their shit network mediate all human contact. Yes, it's downright offensive to all life, but capitalism.

kingarthur - 2013-05-09

Eh, I've worked in radio and done a live remote with a guy literally outside the window, but to pass that kind of thing off as news..... Then again, I suppose the letters "CNN" are meant as a disclaimer to that interpretation.

"There's that dented beetle! They just go round and round...round and round."

Raggamuffin - 2013-05-09

Saw this on the daily show the other night, my stars are for the fake earpiece act.

Suedeo - 2013-05-10

I would have preferred the evidence without the voice over. One star, cruelly withheld!

An additional star has been deducted from my rating of this video for crimes against capitalization and spelling.

Stay in school, kids, or you'll never get five stars.

The God of Biscuits - 2013-05-10

As silly as this looks at first, it kind of makes sense. To do this in a single shot, you'd have to zoom out or have the two people standing right next to each other.

simon666 - 2013-05-10

Standing right next to each other?!?!?!

SchlongChimp - 2013-05-10

But it's Nancy Grace...that's like being shocked that Hannity said something pandery (panderee? panderie? panderish?)

Whatever...I hate her, I hope they need to fire her over this, you know, to save face.
