How about not making a big deal out of it and brushing it off as just a stupid fad? That's what normal people do.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2013-05-13

Why aren't you trying to be like Jesus, who just walked around smacking the SHIT out of those goddamn lute players?

Shoebox Joe - 2013-05-13

It's weird that a lot of them try this presumptious attempt at being unassuming and forgiving with labeling acts as "phases" but when it comes to an actual temporary piece, they act as if it's a crime against their religion.

Seriously, this makes the end scene to "Moral Orel" that much more dramatic and fulfilling. All you need for a prison is authority, a silver tongue and the submissive.

bopeton - 2013-05-13

Honestly,

I did like the final video clip although it seemed pretty non-Christian.

2 things. anyone wearing that horse mask deserves to be punched. good on ya, wretched.

second, the moment at 1:15 could hardly be scripted better as a parody "the church is sinking because it's bringing in too much of the world." *cut to wide shot of hip office full of worldly items*

Christianity: No Fun Allowed

Shoebox Joe - 2013-05-13

Am I the only one who was expecting the crucified Jesus to start wiggling and jiggling on the cross in the cut?

Riskbreaker - 2013-05-13

Harlem Shake is already dead sir, way to arrive late to the party.

EvilHomer - 2013-05-13

27 Then saith The Harlem Shake to Riskbreaker, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

28 And Riskbreaker answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

candyheadrobot - 2013-05-13

O_O JESUS CHRIST THAT THING'S REAL?!

Adham Nu'man - 2013-05-13

I must say I kind of agree on this one.

If I were to truly believe in Jesus and his divinity I'd think doing the Harlem Shake with a Jesus impersonator would be goofy, stupid and disrespectful.

That said, I don't believe in Jesus and his divinity and so I don't really give a shit either way, but 5 anyway for the first and last clip.

Jet Bin Fever - 2013-05-13

I agree but for entirely different reasons.

Potter - 2013-05-13

I'm pretty sure Jesus has something to say about that action at 3:08, probably a whole lot more then with any other bit in this video. His first miracle was to get a party full of people drunk and he is refereed to as "Lord of the Dance".

Where do these people come from?

cognitivedissonance - 2013-05-13

The Charleston is firmly established as a traditional dance of our people. To tolerate the Frug is to tolerate decadence and anarchy, leading ultimately to perdition. You have made your choice, depart from me for I never knew thee.

Also, a billion stars for a related video where he shames someone for being really mad about a guy that murdered her child.

This is one of the few people that actually passes my Christian Voight-Kampff test.
