If you are a David Cross fan, I also strongly recommend picking up his book "I Drink for a Reason" or, better yet, getting the audioversion which I think works even better.

Cross' best comedy is is the absurd, character driven stuff he comes up with. I can't ever get into the political commentary because it comes off as smug, preaching to the choir; it isn't illuminating. That said, Ronnie Dobs and Squagles fucking rule.

Old_Zircon - 2013-06-06 I agree (although since I'm part of the choir I still kind of enjoy it). Jump ahead to the parts about buying batteries on acid and the junkies in Tompkin's Square Park.

Albuquerque Halsey - 2013-06-06 seconded. I tire of his le reddit le atheism le crazy rightwingers le upboat schtick.

Old_Zircon - 2013-06-06 Hey, he can be kind of smug sometimes but comparing him to Redditors is really, really low.
