Not sure how to rate this. I've always loved Tarsem's films visually, and I even liked the story and especially the clever and fun way it was told in this film.

But 240p max resolution? Ick.

This is pretty much The Saddest Movie.

For all it's flaws, this is still an achingly beautiful movie.

I loved this movie and watched it lucky enough to have a Q&A with Tarsem. Pretty nice guy overall, but I still don't buy for a second that the bullethole birds shot was in no way lifted wholesale from The Holy Mountain, as he insisted that he deliberately stayed away from aping any other movie.

It sure is pretty, but this movie is a real snooze fest.

Without the framing narrative, this would have been a way cooler movie. A kind of Baron Munchausen-esque fantasy thing. I honestly just thought the narrative, while clever, was just so clunky and awful.

you know this is a remake of a superior european movie right?

I adore this movie, even if the bulk of it is lost in 240p.

This is one of my favorite films of the decade.
