somewhere i bought something called space ritual 2.1 or something like that. It was the same songs but from diff live shows, and the version of this on there was boss as fuck.

That sounds great! A couple months before I started working at the record store I used to be at, an ex Hawkwind roadie sold his entire LP collection for drug money. By the time I was there all of the classic studio stuff was gone but there were about 40 different bootlegs and demo/rarity/B side compilations and I bought as many as I could afford, so for at least a year that was the only Hawkwind I had. Some of the old live stuff buries anything on the official albums, and the 1968 demo version of Hurry On Sundown is INCREDIBLE. Pretty much anything with there name on it from before 19789 is worth getting, after that it's a case by case thing.

My best album scores have always been from people desperate for drug money. Nothing on that level though!
