Actually it used to be a big problem in Russia's neighboring countries, when Russian truck drivers came over the border with useless, worn out tires on their trucks. They don't seem to quite understand the physics behind designed friction vs a smooth surface.
So these cameras are so ubiquitous in Russia because insurance companies didn't believe this kind of stuff was actually happening?

There was a crazy driver on the 4 the other day - I brake checked him and sent him into a rage that almost got him killed as he barely and suicidally dashed for the closing gap of my car in the far right lane and the semi in the lane to the left. (I was increasing speed semi was staying steady).
He seriously almost killed himself just because I brake checked him for being less than a car length from my car. Looked just like one of these videos from my perspective.
