None of the Mad Max movies took themselves this seriously, so I'm now not just uninterested in this game, I'm uninterested in the movie remake as well.

This IP really took a screwing from Fallout 3. If only they had released this within the timeframe it was originally being rumored to be in conceptual stages (pre Fallout 3...I'm sure it was canceled, re-started, re-canceled, sold to numerous studios, which probably closed and had their assets sold off...before we even got close to this trailer).

This was the game I wanted pre-2008. Now that Fallout 3 has satisfied my desire to play a post apocalypse anti-hero, my hype meter is running on empty for this. I don't want to be one of those snarky "I'll wait until Fallout 4" cunts, but...well...yeah. I can't be alone.

You guys forgot to talk about this shitty folkgrass music they keep adding to post apocalypse, and or, epic styled games. Next call of duty is going to have a trailer with banjo accompanied by splosions and tryhard soul vocals.

The problem with making a game based on an iconic movie series like mad max is that the movies have influenced a lot of post-apocalyptic media in various forms which in turn makes a game based on the original look like a cheap rip off of the media that it inspired.

Personally I'm hoping for more of a Red Dead Redemption kind of thing rather than an invincible spiderman Just Cause kinda game.
