One of the idiotic claims made by anti-vaxxers is that vaccines expose kids' immune systems to too many things at once. This is in spite of children being exposed to thousands, if not millions of "new" things their immune systems have to decide yay or nay on from the second they leave the womb. Adding vaccination to them is practically a drop in the bucket.
Then there are the morons who will claim things like "it'll make them sick, because they're injecting them with disease, which is why I got sick from the flu vaccine once and don't take it no more." It never occurs to them that immunity from flu vaccine takes weeks to develop and might not cover all the strains. Plus, while it's developing, it's the HEIGHT OF FLU SEASON.
Sorry. I could go on for hours. If there's any justice, Jenny McCarthy will get HPV or something and be taught an excruciating lesson.

I love that they replaced the dumb blonde on that show with the only possible actress that was dumber than both she and Sherri Shepard put together.
I've said this many times on other forums but it is basically anti feminist and extremely sexist of the network to purposefully avoid putting I dunno, SMART WOMEN on the fucking View.
Jenny McCarthy is the fucking worst. I hope this blows up in their face.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2013-07-26 Okay, SolRo, now let's talk turnip recipes. How do you like to eat them? I love to braise them.
Hoo, girl!

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2013-07-26 I never thought about it that way before. So the women of the View get paid to make women feel better about their intelligence, and are totally unaware of their real purpose in life?
That is seriously meta.
Also nothing beats Sherri Shepard saying that nothing predates Jesus and Christianity and the other morons were like no wait, teehee there was Ancient Greece and then Rome and Sherri Shepard insisted Jesus came first.
Watching that show, it's like you are instantly an intellectual Gulliver in the land of giggling, illiterate Liliputians.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-07-26 Smart women might not WANT to be on The View at this point. I think it'd take a special kind of smart, the kind that can manage to not boil over at the rampant ignorance on display (as the audience would turn on the smart one, for being 'bitchy' or something) and make comments that seem, to the average viewer, to be pleasant, but which are actually cutting and sarcastic if you have more than a high school diploma in your possession.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2013-07-27 I think that some of the women on the View (Barbara, Whoopi, Joy) are reasonably intelligent, but sort of obnoxious. They may be going for a reality show train wreck. No doubt somebody is going to tell Jenny off. I might be willing to tune in for that.

I still have people in the field who think vaccinations cause Autism ever since the Andrew Wakefield report. I have actually been told what a horrible parent I am for daring to MMR vaccinate both of them.

God bless America, where children will die and poison their environments because dumbfuck parents took the advice of viral Internet movements and a blonde, empty-headed shit-for-brains.

Scrotum H. Vainglorious - 2013-07-26
Only in America where millions will follow the advice of a vapid airhead who's only claim to fame was exposing her tits in a magazine in the 90s.

Parents who don't vaccinate their kids because Jenny McCarthy told them not to should be reported to CPS. There, I said it.
|
pyslexic dharmacist - 2013-07-29 Parents who don't vaccinate their kids for any reasons, other than legitimate medical ones, should be reported to CPS. I really don't understand how this is any different from hitting them with a belt; the old folks I've talked to who actually had mumps, pertussis, etc. would have preferred a medieval ass-whoopin'. The phrase "I thought I was dying" comes up a lot. Millions of dollars were not spent on research just to give kids autism, for fuck's sake.

Jenny's kid never had autism to begin with!
