I wonder if these are created by searching through screenplays posted online and then finding the footage and editing afterwards or if the kinds of people that do these giant editing projects just have insanely eidetic superpowers.
I've met someone who could do stuff like this from memory, buthe knew records not movies. There are I think 5 people in the US (or were around 2007 when I learned about this) who have such a prodigal memory for recorded music that major labels bring them in to identify samples by ear for copyright claims, and one of them knew the owner of the record store I used to work at.
there are also some people who can identify pieces of classical music by looking at the surface of a record, but that I've never seen.
That said, I'm guessing this was done by searching screenplays.
