I'd ask these idiots why all of these "false flag" things are staged to supposedly take everyone's guns away when not a single gun control bill has passed and many states have actually made it far, far easier to get a gun than ever before.

And then I remind myself, they'd probably credit all of their EXPOSED videos for stopping this vast, ever-failing conspiracy.

According to Wayne LaPierre, it's because Obama is basically "biding his time" and tricking us all into thinking that the government isn't go to do anything by not doing anything.

StanleyPain - 2013-09-18

Oh, also, incase any of you missed it, it was recently revealed that the NRA was privately amassing a huge database of gun-owners while opposing a national registry.

The conspiracy theorists have these events all wrong. They're not false flags for gun control, they're false flags for a radical NRA-sponsored expansion of the national security state.

Once we've got armed cops and CCTV in all our schools and on every street corner, THEN they can start disarming the proletariat.

Oh, it's also worth mentioning that this guy attempted to buy an AR15, the whackjob murder machine gun du-jour of "true patriots", but laws prevented him from doing so (he was not in his home state) so instead he bought a shotgun. So, consider that laws actually prevented this guy from probably killing another 10-15 people, and it wasn't even much of a law.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-09-18

@StanleyPain: Are you serious? Then why am I not seeing a bunch of recall elections and calls for AR-15s to be available at corner stores to whoever asks? It seems the only logical course of action for the NRA.

StanleyPain - 2013-09-18

After it came out that the Aurora theater shooting was mostly done with an AR-15 and people kinda wondered how a rifle like that is legal (you know, sane questions) for ordinary people to own, the NRA already did their bit to make sure no sane gun legislation has ever been passed. As it stands, AR-15s are now flying off the shelves and basically every retarded gun nut has one now. In fact, a gun magazine I recently stocked at work the other day had a helpful article on how to do a simple mod so you can belt feed them!

Wonderful.

I wonder how the sales of the FN Five-Seven have done since the Fort Hood shooting. Oh, sure, it's only sold to civilians with sporting rounds, but the thing can hold rounds that are designed to pierce NATO kevlar vests. "Use the gun that Malik Hassan relied on to kill defenseless heavily-armed fellow soldiers. If only they'd all had more guns."

cognitivedissonance - 2013-09-18

Where were these guys when Franz Ferdinand was shot?*

*answer: In the Pacific Northwest, shortly to be rounded up.

mon666ster - 2013-09-18

As always, it's the complete inability to comprehend human behaviour that frightens me about these people.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-09-19

I'm also reading a lot of crap from them about how it's a shame all of these military bases are gun-free zones.

Because the defenseless military personnel with all of their guns would be even more effective if random contractors and civilians could just whip out their firearms and join in the fun.

EvilHomer - 2013-09-19

SPK - Soldiers don't walk around post with firearms, especially not in a place like Fort Hood. The gun-free zone thing applies to everyone, civilian and military. Whatever else you may think about gun rights, had Major Hassan tried something like downrange, he would have only got two, maybe three shots off before someone smoked him.
