I just noticed from the preview image: Liefeld's face looks like a Liefeld drawing. Perhaps the guy is a master of photorealism and we never noticed?

It's like his face is a featureless surface that eyes, eyebrows, and a mouth were put onto, and a nose was added afterwards. All it's missing is extraneous crosshatching.

Liefeld is a complete douche. I recall when he registered on Fark.com when I used to visit there about a decade ago, and he lasted for about five seconds after nobody would put up with his ill-informed right-wing crap. I'm kind of amazed he hasn't gone Frank Miller on us by now. I wonder if he's still doing his Bible comics:

This video led me to a fun video of Jim Lee giving a tutorial on how he draws hands. I never knew how delightful Jim Lee apparently is in real life. So, five for that!

Jim Lee is a living "Anti-Liefeld" in a way, he doesn't butt heads with people paying his checks (that's why he basically runs DC now,) he gets better with every picture, and is generally a cool guy.

Although thanks to him Rob got propelled into stardom simply by piggy-backing onto Image. Can't win them all I suppose.
