Probably needs a "press x to not die" tag.

Seems like a fun boss fight. Too bad you can't play it.

I guess "aiming", "firing" and "turning" were things which couldn't be accomplished in gameplay, and needed minimal unrelated button presses while you watched.

Well, this is more The Death of Traingun. There's a whole boss fight that's actually pretty fun where your team of four (I played it co-op, so I'm not sure how it works solo) has to have one guy load the cannon, one guy turn the gun and shoot, and two guys fighting off monsters on deck and restarting the engines as needed. It was pretty well done.

Granted, it only really works with at least three people, but I thought it was a decent enough effort.

Oh I hear that traingun coming
It's rolling round the bend
and it's been blasting giant snowworms
since I don't know when

Take 'em all the way to Folsom Prison.

You know, gamemakers, Dragons Lair had the controls it did only because the technology couldn't do anything else at the time...

and even for a movie it's crazy how dull this is. Final Fantay 7's plot was a mess with 16 year old primative graphics but even they had a more exciting giant monster vs giant cannon scene.

Train artillery being made obsolete was the most tragic development in military tech.

Triggerbaby - 2013-09-25

What I wanted was a gun that shoots trains but what I got was some final fantasy dogshit.

TheOtherCapnS - 2013-09-25

Exactly. From the title and description, I was fully expecting a gun that launched trains at people.

I know I'm not the first to say it, and this was interesting to watch, but when we were kids it was a bitch to watch your friend play Zelda. As the viewer you'd eventually hop in and say something. This is probably more entertaining as a clip done right than it is as an actual interactive experience.

DavidBowiesLuckyTennisBall - 2013-09-26

Ah, so that's what happened to that boss in Starfox 64...
