I've never heard a rabbit scream before, up until this point I thought it was either a joke or some sort of hillbilly lore. I'm sort of sad that I can't think of it as the latter anymore...oh well, thanks Poetv!

Fuck the rabbits. They breed like crazy so they can be eaten like potato chips by the predators.
Hawks are getting harder to find. Go hawk!
|
|
SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-09-28 We once had a hawk in our front yard that had nailed a pigeon, turning the surrounding snow into a bloody mess. I wish I'd known what the hawk sound/action was for "please murder more of them and take as many squirrels as you can while you're at it."
|
baleen - 2013-09-28 I love bunnies but they are the world's food supply for good reason.
A female rabbit reproduces so much that the hormones that have to be pumped through their tiny little bodies end up killing them from cancer before the age of 3. When fixed they can live longer than twice that age and die pretty peacefully.
Nature is horrible.
|
SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-09-28 Though rabbit is lacking in certain vitamins and minerals, so you (a person, dunno about other predators) can't survive on rabbit alone. You'd eventually "starve" for lack of other needs in your diet.
I figure it's a trade-off for being able to make mittens out of the critters.

If I ever release a rabbit like this, I'm standing over that little shit until it's safely in a burrow.

This was one of those videos where you knew exactly what was going to happen but didn't really want it to. There's another video exactly like this on here, but if I recall correctly it's a mouse instead of a rabbit.
Speaking of which, does anyone know why hawks and rabbits love to hang around the suburbs so much? I live in a burb that looks exactly like this one and it's full of rabbits and hawks trying to eat them (although the rabbits here have wised up to it and only come out at night, so the hawks usually settle for feasting on yellow finches and the occasional dove).
