In the resulting fracas, a bunch of the idiots were tossing the PUA "alpha" and "beta" classifications at each other, like a bunch of nerdy rabid corgis. It's not surprising that's the demographic that's eating this shit up, but I hadn't realized it had poisoned them to this extent.

I bet what's happening here is that PUAs don't look at how many tries a strategy works to get laid (i.e., this strategy takes 20 tries, but the 20th woman will sleep with you, on average), but just whether or not you wind up getting laid eventually. Thus, they can keep acting crazier and crazier and as long as the sex bubble doesn't burst, their new craziness is a 100% guaranteed will get you laid trick.

I usually just pour water on them; then, while their circuitry is resetting, it's simply a matter of taking a screwdriver, prying open their chest compartment, and manually hacking their CPU. It's really easy!
Well, it's easy in theory. In practice, I've been having a lot of problems rebooting their systems after the hack. I've had to scrap at least a dozen units under my floorboards and in the swamp out back. Fortunately, they were mostly out-of-state hikers and foreign tourists who won't be missed.
