Alex Jones is actually a great example of what makes America great. Stay with me...
He goes to show that ANYONE can make it in this country if they're dedicated enough. Here's how anyone, no matter how broke, can become rich with enough dedication: go to the public library and study politics and government online for a few hours a day while you save up money from your shit job to buy the cheapest computer and microphone you can. Start a podcast that mindlessly distorts facts and panders to the dumbest demographics you can find who will follow you and support you. After you slowly but surely get enough listeners, sell a little ad space. From here the door is open: put the money you make back into your podcast via a good domain name, maybe some cameras, hell, supplement it with a couple of shitty books you write over a weekend and soon enough you'll be ballin enough to quit your day job.
I'm not saying Alex Jones did this, but he's proof that it would work. Flawlessly. Every time.

Not to say he isn't getting a lot of money for this, rather I think he's the kind of person who listened to someone doing this schtick ages ago and actually started to believe it. That's who really scare me, the ones who swallow the Alex Jones show as gospel.
