Sevda is like a British version of my sister. Out of control emotions, tells herself no one will care about her, avoids situations or people based entirely upon perceived judgment, retaliates against people who aren't doing anything. Used to revere the gangsta lifestyle before she had kids. Also she is manic depressive. Sevda most likely is, too, she shows signs of it.
Andrew, however, I have hope for him. The fact that he reacted so angrily to homelessness when confronted with it combined with everything else about him and his admissions, was very interesting to watch. I'm a fan of people who can admit they need to change.
I know that shows like this are usually exploitative, but I was genuinely moved by it.
