When did you lose front page privileges?

Caminante Nocturno - 2013-10-26

A couple of weeks ago, when I punched Support in the face at General Vo Nguyen Giap's funeral. In my defense, I was drunk and Support was, well, Support.

Unmerciful Crushing Force - 2013-10-26

5 stars for our dearly departed General.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2013-10-26

If the Equestria Girls movie had only thought of turning them into a story voiced by Russian mobsters.

Spaceman Africa - 2013-10-26

I guess I'll be the first.

EvilHomer - 2013-10-26

Oh come on, it's not that bad!

I don't like grimdark stuff either, and yes, it is rather upsetting to see Pinkie Pie die. I briefly considered one starring it too, but then I thought, you know what, it has a good message at the end, and really, it's about time Rainbow Dash got a chance to kill Pinkie Pie, instead of the other way 'round. Karmic balance and so forth! Plus, there's a classic Dashie hanging hog-tie scene near the end (thanks again, Fall Weather Friends!), so when you think about it, there's something for everypony here.

The voice acting is pretty bad (another problem endemic to the grimdark community) and technically I should be docking stars for that alone, but I'll five to make up for the angry Pinkie Pie fanboys dropping their ones.

EvilHomer - 2013-10-26

*(I know somebody's going to call me on this, so let me just say up front that I don't consider my OC ponies to be "grimdark". True, Klop Killah is a horrorcore rapper, Ganja Twerk grows weed ("horsenip"), Faygo Dream is a stripper-pony, Dirty South is an inverse furry, and sweet little Molly is a meth addict. Don't even get me started on Filly Blunt or Plot Twist. On the surface, a family of weed-dealing juggalo ponies embroiled in the seedy underbelly of Manehattan sounds very grimdark indeed. But I consider my OCs to be a subversive satire of the grimdark community. They're modeled on the artistic philosophies of Lobo, JTHM, and GWAR - parodies of the form, absolutely over-the-top, yet retaining a sense of warmth, humor, and self-awareness that changes the underlying meaning of the narrative.

I consider my ponies to be *anti*-grimdark, and I believe their adventures to be subversions of the grimdark aesthetic, rather than subversions of Lauren Faust's original text. Like a grimdark détournement, if you will)

Situationist ponies.

EvilHomer - 2013-10-26

Well, technically, none of them are situationists. My only OC pony with an interest in radical art movements is Faygo Dream, and she's an aspiring Stuckist art critic.

Gmork - 2013-10-26

But certainly not the last.

BHWW - 2013-10-26

The only proper response to one of Evil Homer's tee-hee-just-trolling-but-not-really posts is something like this:

EvilHomer - 2013-10-26

Who said I was trolling?

EvilHomer - 2013-10-26

Oh, and don't even get me started on my opinion of It's Always Sunny. YELLING REALLY LOUD DOES NOT MAKE EVERYTHING YOU SAY FUNNY. Darn hipsters!

I can see why you'd like it, though, BHWW.

memedumpster - 2013-10-26

Five for mentioning situationists. MLPFIM from now on will be known to me as the Suicide of the Spectacle.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2013-10-26

The bridge suicide scene had me laughing out loud. This is way better than the original show.

The New Meat - 2014-05-29

Oh, it's ponies.
