Sexy Duck Cop - 2013-11-06
Don't feel bad about saluting him. If you treated everyone you met as a serial killer, you would be the lunatic, not them. The fact that you gave him the benefit of the doubt only proves your sanity and decency.

I think he's pretty cool.

EvilHomer - 2013-11-06
You guys should check out the pictures of him in stolen women's underwear.

gravelstudios - 2013-11-06 I assumed those pictures were the primary reason this is on here.

The entire 2:39:46 Interview is way more interesting than his "confession".
He has no remorse for his victims whatsoever. He was mostly worried about his, and the military's reputation. Oh, and his wife. He felt "sorry" for her. Him going into detail of the break in's, rape, and murder is cold and calculated. Listening to a psychopath/sociopath thought process is incredibly interesting. It gives me the fucking chills.

Sexy Duck Cop - 2013-11-06 The real story for me was the attorney. The way he smoothly transitioned from euphemism to gentle prodding to explicitly outlining how badly Williams fucked himself was nothing short of elegant.

This is a new trainwreck for me, I'd never heard of this person. I thought Canada was parallel universe America where social darwinism wasn't mandated by God.
|
Species - 2013-11-06 You clearly haven't seen "Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father"
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1152758/?ref_=nv_sr_4
last I checked it was still on netflix. Warning though, be prepared to have your heart ripped out of your chest.

CharlesSmith - 2013-11-06 Nah, we suck as much as any country. It's just that, no offense, we're always standing next to the ugly girl at the dance.
"You don't just leave the sick in the gutter to die? What a socialist utopia!"
|
EvilHomer - 2013-11-06 Don't let them fool you. Canada is the land of Chris Benoit and Luka Magnotta.
|
Old_Zircon - 2013-11-07 Plus down here in theUSA we don't really understand Canadian racism because it's directed at their indigenous people, and we so effectively killed and marginalized our share of that population that most of us most of the time didn't even remember they exist at all.
|
memedumpster - 2013-11-07 Wait, Canada didn't exterminate its indigenous people? Isn't that the gold standard prerequisite for founding a country?
|
EvilHomer - 2013-11-07 Indigenous people? What, you mean the Irish? There's still a few kicking around here, but most of them moved out back in the 70s, when all them Puerto Ricans showed up.
|
|
memedumpster - 2013-11-07 You can not out eugenics America, we tried to sterilize entire populations of, hilariously, Irish. I bet you didn't even give anyone diseases.

SixDigitDebt - 2013-11-08 There aren't any Beothuks around anymore. Between smallpox, warring tribes and lack of resources, the Newfies are probably the only people on the planet to successfully complete a genocide.

THA SUGAH RAIN - 2013-11-06
The story is really interesting and new to me, but none of these clips show any confessing. Clip 2 is 90% just two guys staring at each other in silence.
Also, even if your plan is to confess and cooperate with the investigation, wouldn't you want an attorney before you start talking about your murder victims and locations of dead bodies?
|
|
SixDigitDebt - 2013-11-06 I liked these clips because of the tension of the silence as the detective weaned the information out of him. You can actually watch him mimic Williams' body language in order to build a rapport with the guy. I thought it was kind of neat.
Definitely check out the link Species posted up earlier if you want to see the whole damn thing.

This is evidence that no one with this hairstyle should be trusted.
