Well, I can tell you that people in the Czech Republic are getting their fuck on, at least. They just can't afford babies.

While a lower birthrate might indeed be a desirable thing in the long term, in the medium term it threatens to create a societal age distribution with far too much of the population retired and too few workers.

The concern is how to get through that transitional period (which will last several decades) without an economic collapse.

The more educated women are, the less likely they are to have children, and if they have children it's later in life. Those are facts. Worldwide, every culture, that's how it works.

Yet imply that having children is stupid, and all the parents want to rip off your head and shit down your neck. Not my fault you can't understand how to use a condom....

Back i 6th grade my Spanish class all got assigned penpals in Spain, and for the first letters we asked them to describe what they thought the average American was like. When we got our replies we went through and built up a composite list of all of them.

Around 1990, Spanish tweens thought Americans were all a cross between Garth Brooks and J.R. Ewing.

Back in the 90s, my English cousins thought we all wore cowboy hats and hung around with Native Americans.

In Dutch, the word "America" translates to "Land of Bronies and Heart Disease."

We're just as ignorantly and broadly pigeon-holed into comfortable categories to avoid thinking too hard.

If G Gundam is to be trusted as an accurate source (and why wouldn't it be?), we're all surfing, boxing cowboys obsessed with football and guns. Also we're terribly afraid of clowns.

Other than surfing cowboys, I'd say g gundam has the most accurate stereotype
