My family is from this part of Oregon. The people this song is about are the same rich twats who moved in back in the 80s and ruined most of the little towns out there. Fuck' em.

When my parents first moved to Oregon back in the 1970s they lived in Lake Oswego; when they had me I was living in SE but got tossed around from Cleveland to Wilson to Benson due to budget cuts in the music program(s).

I grew up in a neighboring town, at the edge between suburbia and the forest.

Fuck Lake Oswego, and fuck this guy especially. Rich assholes.

I have been to "LO" twice, because my previous property management company was there.

It looked like everything I feel to be a nightmare place. Just awful, stifling death.

Apropos of nothing, the only girl I ever really liked left me to move back to Lake Oswego. I think I was better off not knowing what I was competing with. :-(

Lake Oswego is an insufferable rich suburb of Portland. Some of the locals apparently want to keep condos out of a redevelopment there.

I live just a bit south, near Salem, but I grew up in PDX so I call it home.
