If you had told her that you were going to devote the entirety of the 24th to buying and playing Xenosaga Episode 2, I'm certain she would have been willing to reschedule.
Also, I love how this show lots of space combat and someone making twitchy reactions on a PS2 controller, as though this series had any kind of action in it at all.
That actually brings to mind one thing I liked about Xenosaga I and II: the battle systems. You basically button-mashed your way to combos in the first one, while the second one turned each enemy type into a little puzzle that you had to break open, preferably by button-mashing.
Then the third game came along and got rid of the button-mashing. And I didn't finish it.
You know, this is pretty tame for a Japanese commercial. I expected one of them to turn into a space robot or, at the very least, for the girl to pull on a blue wig and yell HOW ABOUT NOW.
