Good thing he was "choking" her, otherwise her screams would have ruptured the eardrums of everyone present.

Jet Bin Fever - 2013-12-12

haha!

Meerkat - 2013-12-12

You know she's a girl right?

Grandmaster Funk - 2013-12-12

He did the law very good.

gravelstudios - 2013-12-12

Well, it's nice to know that if I break the law and get caught by the police, all I have to do is flail around screaming like a toddler on the floor of a Wal-Mart, and the good samaritans of the world will film it, put it on youtube, and call the cops jerks for doing their jobs.

gravelstudios - 2013-12-12

Then again, it isn't as if I really trust the cops any more than these people do.

Scrimmjob - 2013-12-12

Trust the cops or not, I can't think of a situation where acting like this is going to be beneficial.

I'd really like to see what led up to the start of this video.

poopy - 2013-12-12

That girl looks pretty clean but I still hope that it is lotsmoreorcs.

Oscar Wildcat - 2013-12-12

She was busted tranching mortgage backed securities so as to hide the worthlessness of the underlying assets.

That new volcker rule is harsh, bro.

Jet Bin Fever - 2013-12-12

Guy seems like a good cop. A lot of cops wouldn't have taken the time to even try to explain themselves. I really don't like how spectators hearing her wailing sympathize with the girl over the cops solely because she is A. a female, and B. screaming. They don't know anything else, but they still side against the police.

I'm one of the first to get pissed at police brutality, but I know the limits of it too. A good buddy of mine is a cop and broke his finger recently after having to body slam a meth head who was trying to grab a knife. He's lucky he wasn't stabbed.

These guys have a really awful job, and while a lot of them are cocky, belligerent SOBs, there are some genuinely nice cops out there that just want to feed their families and keep people safe.

Canadian police are generally pretty level-headed and kind. Maybe it's because they're less of a paramilitary operation than down in the States. Whatever it is, the way that a lot of our citizens react to our police officers (As if they're the LAPD or something) must really, really chafe on them.

The job is to arrest people who have been accused of an offence, so that they can be taken down, assigned a lawyer and processed pending a judge's decision on the matter. Fighting them at all is the sign of an under-educated, over-entitled moron, regardless of gender, socioeconomic status, or whether or not you're innocent.

About a month ago I got way too trashed at a party and ended up wandering into a volunteer fire hall on my way home (Door was unlocked, I was cold). I triggered an alarm and on my way back outside, an undetermined time later, there were two firefighters coming to check on the alarm. They told me they had to call the police because I was trespassing, so I just stood there with my guitar until the RCMP showed up. I was read my rights, patted down, handcuffed loosely and driven down to the station where I proceeded to not tell them anything that they didn't already know. At no point was I man-handled, yelled at, threatened or anything like that. The worst thing they did was threaten to take my glasses away before they put me in the drunk tank; I told them I need my glasses to see properly, especially when I'm trashed, so they left me alone on that. Six hours later they woke me up, gave me back all my shit, called me a ride and kicked me out.

Ended up the fire hall didn't want to press charges because I didn't steal or damage anything, so I got off scot-free, didn't even get the public intoxication charge they could have slapped me with if they'd found me wandering around hammered on the road. When I got home I laughed for a good half an hour.

I love the RCMP.

Let me know when you get the bill for your incarceration, and if you're about to tell me Canadians don't get charged money for being locked up, just keep it to yourself.

BorrowedSolution - 2013-12-12

I'm not 100% on the rules in each province and territory, but where I am; we don't have to pay for that, no.

Surely it's not like that all over the U.S.A., is it? Or is fucking people over with the justice system applied across the board there? To my canuck sensibilities, charging somebody an incarceration fee, especially when they're never charged and/or convicted with a crime, is madness. It just seems a little bit too easy to abuse.

Step one: Stop & Frisk

Step two: Arrest Without Cause

Step three: ????

Step four: Profit!
