It's based on the idea that these will be far more ubiquitous, like dashcams, unless you've found a way to check your e-mail and update your facebook page with a gopro.

For what it is worth, if I read something on this site that bothers me, I think to myself "This is the Portal of Evil, what do you expect" and it makes everything OK. Gmork, you have all these claims to being reasonable and "liberal," yet you often descend into the same old wingnut comparisons. That is, comparing the stats of gun deaths to things like deaths from car accidents (cars being used far more often than guns, requiring licensing, not being design to kill people in the first place, etc.) and hospitals (places where people go when they're dying, places where people with diseases are located, etc.) which ought to register even with you as being bullshit points.
