At least SOMEBODY is doing something in space. It's more "Serenity" than "Star Trek," but it's better than nothing.

I know it's nitpicking a very cool achievement, but am I the only one baffled by the fact that in the year 2013, they send a camera to the moon that apparently operates at about 1 frame per second?

[Insert joke about cheap Chinese cameras here]

Most films from space seem to be similarly shitty. I would say that it has something to do with zero gravity, but I can't imagine how gravity would affect a digital camera.

So I'm going to go with "gremlins".

man, you guys sound stupid.

It's like in Cosmos, when Carl Sagan describes a Mars exploration mission in which a rover sends back live video to earth that people could watch on TV. I've been kind of disappointed by the lack of HD video being sent back from Mars. You'd think they'd just put a live feed on the NASA channel or something, at least occasionally.

distance to moon / C = 1.3 seconds. Whatever would you do with all the interstitial frames, just throw them away at the lander? FUCK YOU, ALBERT EINSTEIN!

Faaaaake.

Cool - I hope they planned to take some panoramic/3D imagery.

Also, some of the comments on the original
