Andy Hamilton is a great comedian.

Seek out his radio show, "Old Harry's Game" for his more comedic take on Satan. It's blashpemically amusing.

Satan may be an eternal all powerful being second only to God hisself, but he proved no match for the Beeb's legal dept.

Innocent Bystander - 2014-01-14

That's was pretty alright.

memedumpster - 2014-01-14

That was very entertaining! I like that the devil started as an angel that called you out for being an idiot and ended up being the excuse for being an idiot. Leave it to religion to shoot even God's messengers. The original manchildren.

Yeah, I can relate. You try and educate people about ponies, and they think YOU'RE the evil one. Huh.

"And the LORD opened the mouth of the pony, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times?

And Balaam said unto the pony, Because thou hast challenged my ideas of gender identity: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee.

...

And the brony of the LORD said unto Balaam, Wherefore hast thou smitten thine pony these three times? behold, I went out to withstand thee, because thy way is perverse before me: And the pony saw me, and turned from me these three times: unless she had turned from me, surely now also I had slain thee, and saved her alive."

Book of Sparkles, 22:28-33

And just like Christians, bronies scream persecution when their sick, stunted, fetishes aren't universally adopted, showering them with praise for being sick and stunted.

You should write a Brony Bible, completely seriously. In the post-apocalyptic world it could become a holy text.

Oh for fucks sake doesn't anyone at the BBC check for GLARING PLOT HOLES.

The intro is supposed to be a flashback, right? Set in 1995? Satan says Simon Cowell's time has nearly passed. Er, come again? Simon Cowell first hit it big in 2002, with the runaway success of American Idol; this was seven years after Andy's discussion with Satan. In 1995, Simon Cowell was still working nondescript shlub jobs for his rich executive daddy over at EMI Music. So what is sixteen-years-ago Satan talking about? Simon Cowell's time is not "nearly up". It's not even begun!

NEEEEEEEEEEEEEERD

good catch though

misterbuns - 2014-01-14

What a delightful fuzzy little man.

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-01-20

I really enjoyed this. Even as a theist, I always found the devil really problematic. I was lucky enough to take some Classics courses in college and read Paradise Lost with a fantastic professor. So, not too much here I didn't know, other than maybe Martin Luther's bowel problems. Still a great watch.

"Even as a theist"

He's pretty simple for atheists, actually.
