It's been running since 1963 more or less. It must grate on your nerves for something so sucky to have lasted so long. Douglas Adams must suck by association, right? He worked on the show.

In all fairness to Cena, Horror of Fang Rock is a pretty lame episode. It has a few funny Leela scenes and not much else.

As for Adams, the Hitchhikers movie sucked, but the books are quite funny.

The books inspired the film. I put the blame on Adams and Mos Def.
Dr. Whooves is one of the worst things about the MLP Fandom. Even worse than clopping. Also I heard he hates apples.

Oh, and quick update. I liked your suggestion about including my Applejack painting in that upcoming art show, Cena, but I ran it by some of the organizers and they didn't cotton to the idea. Apparently, they thought some older people might take offense to a woman horse...? Think it was some kind of sexist statement? Or think it was not sexist enough? I really don't know, it's the first I've ever heard anything like that.

I tried explaining who Applejack was, how she embodied all sorts of military values and how how her hard-workin', gender-buckin' attitude really exemplified the role of women in the modern military, but they said if it needed explaining to a room full of old people, it was probably too controversial and best left out of the gallery. Oh, but the painting of Obama going all Rambo was fine, even though that one is MEANT to be controversial and piss people off.

I guess the problem is how some women like Barbara Streisand and Sex and the City chick are called horse-face by sexist dorks. The irony being how un-horsefaced the characters in MLP FIM are.

And yeah, that might be it... honestly, I don't see how being called horse-face should even be that big a deal anymore, since a) it's not like a woman's worth should be measured by her appearance, right? Stop being so look-ist, everyone! and b) anyone who thinks horse-face is an insult has obviously never seen Fluttershy.

I tried to make the point that, if people really weren't familiar with the show, mightn't they assume the pony was a boy? But they said Applejack looked like she had breasts, which was really baffling, because believe me, when I draw breasts, I know it!

Anyway, I kinda wish I had the opportunity to submit a digital installation now. I'd love to have a seemingly static image of one of those paintings, that breaks into a Max Headroom Incident every fifteen minutes or so.
