Wow. That last half-second is pretty freaky. Like, shape-shifting reptilian freaky.

RedRust - 2014-01-14

Would go great as an animated GIF.

exy - 2014-01-14

Poor deer. He looks about ready to find the nearest airport.

cognitivedissonance - 2014-01-14

His name is "Gary Southern". He runs a company called "Freedom Industries".

This is not a human being. It's okay to kill him.

Nikon - 2014-01-14

He's so awful we ought to apologize to any bullets that hit him.

Cena_mark - 2014-01-14

He sounds like he's English. What's up these English CEOs fucking up America. First it was Aegis Oil, then BP, now its Freedom Industries.

defenestration_a_celebration - 2014-01-15

In tech, the absolute worst bosses I've had are all upper-class English men. They're abusive, sociopathic scum that view their employees as subhumans. I think 100 years ago they would have been running the Raj, but the best they've got now is Corporate America.

(flame effect added by channel 8 news)

Oscar Wildcat - 2014-01-14

I swear to god, when he opened his mouth, I expected to hear "Archie Luxury here! Tell me what you think, fuckers!"

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2014-01-14

Anyone thirsty for an Aquafina? This is a hell of an endorsement.

"Water polluted by some guy who has more money than your entire ancestry had, even when adjusted for inflation, and makes his dosh shortening your life span? Have an Aquafina."

Binro the Heretic - 2014-01-15

All right, you know what? Yeah, the guy is an asshole. Yes he's responsible for the damage his company did, but we as a culture have to start shouldering some of the blame ourselves.

We de-fang the EPA by weakening their ability to punish companies that do shit like this then cripple it further with budget cuts that reduce its personnel and their ability to investigate and/or prosecute wrongdoing. We treat everyone who warns us shit like this will happen like an air-headed tree-hugger who hates America and towns desperate for any jobs it can find will fight tooth & nail to attract companies like this in cutting them all sorts of tax breaks an waiving all sorts of laws & regulations.

All because we think rich assholes should have the "freedom" to make even more money at the expense of the environment.

Lef - 2014-01-15

That is a sad and sorry truth.

Still, a dark net accidental death bingo game would be great... I could spare a couple quatloos on that.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2014-01-15

"We?" Where are you getting this "we" stuff from?

Oscar Wildcat - 2014-01-15

Well, if "we" would listen to ME, it would be quite different I can assure you. But I've come to realize, any real change in this situation will come about only through unilateral effort on my part.

TheOtherCapnS - 2014-01-15

"Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa!"

The universal sound that something that is going poorly for you is about to get considerably worse.

Hooker - 2014-01-15

Q. How is this guy complaining about his hard day to the press?

Q. How is he just casually drinking water?

Q. What the fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck?

I expect these to be answered in an FAQ Freedom Industries releases soon.

Oscar Wildcat - 2014-01-15

A. Because it's sooo HARDDHHHH being a middle class guy.

A. Because he's thirst, fucker.

A. Tell me what you think!

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2014-01-15

I hope he's murdered in his sleep.
