Oh a related note, I've been wondering if maybe I shouldn't quit my job and devote myself to making MLP plushies full-time? For those of you not in the know, most of the pony plushies you see in brony videos are custom jobs. Hasbro offers only a limited range of plushies, and these are generally of very poor quality, meant more for children than for discriminating connoisseurs.
Now, before you call me crazy, consider the following: the standard selling price for a normal pony plushy is between 0 and 0. For life-sized pony plushies, the price leaps upwards to about ,000. I'm not sure what the going rate is for ponies equipped with SPHs, but I imagine they'd be pushing Real Doll prices. I wouldn't mind spending a few hours sewing a bag together for five grand!

BorrowedSolution - 2014-01-19 Homer does a great caricature of an insane fanatic; I mean, you gotta know he's trolling, right? These 'obsessions' of his are clearly too polished and well-thought-out to be result of actual fanaticisim, he's done the work of elevating it to a form of art, which is what good trolling's all about.
That being said, it's also quite clear that even though his obsessive impulses are only ostensibly linked to bronydom and other...ahem..proclivities... that core of true obsession shines through. It's probably a good thing for the world that he channels it all toward banal trivialities as opposed to any sort of strong idealism; it would be a harsher (if only marginally) world if Homer were a neo-nazi.
Come to think of it, for all we know, he actually is.
