I'd hit it to eternity.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2014-01-27

what, the yogurt?

dementomstie - 2014-01-27

No, of course not he'd never fuck yogurt. This is a commercial for a granola bar sort of thing. He wants to fuck a granola bar.

Paracelsus - 2014-01-27

Yogurt would be cold, in addition to any number of other problems of aesthetics, texture, or basic engineering.

pyslexic dharmacist - 2014-02-02

Yeah, I have a weak spot for MPDGs too, the cuteness overshadows any obnoxiousness. For a limited time, though.

SolRo - 2015-01-26

given the choice, I'd fuck yogurt instead of a granola bar.

Ocyrus - 2014-01-26

Fucking love those things, but have never seen a commercial for them before now... either way, there are more obnoxious adverts out there.

TheOtherCapnS - 2014-01-26

Hey, at least it was accompanied by synth instead of ukulele

The Mothership - 2014-01-26

I could have sworn that 'manic pixie dreamgirl' was a linked tag. wtf POETv, get fucking with it.

Azmo23 - 2014-01-26

"manic pixie dream girl" http://www.poetv.com/video.php?vid=67970
"manic pixie dream girls" http://www.poetv.com/video.php?vid=124532
are both unlinked, i'm sure there are more.

SolRo - 2014-01-26

the most hyperbolic video sub in poetv history

-there are much more obnoxious commercials

-manic pixie girls existed before juno

Nominal - 2014-01-26

The answer was even right there in the tags! Zooey Deschanel ruined things long before Juno.

Xenocide - 2014-01-26

She doesn't have a pixie cut! She's an imposter!

That guy - 2014-01-26

most hyperbolic?
http://www.poetv.com/video.php?vid=130794
"perhaps the most pretentious trailer in history"

Bort - 2014-01-26

I used to enjoy Belvitas, but now I'm going to think of this commercial.

It may have ruined the key of e-flat for me too.

Xenocide - 2014-01-26

I HATE DOGS NOW.

James Woods - 2014-01-26

"It's like my heart is hard."

Xenocide - 2014-01-26

Ron Jeremy won't stand for you plagiarizing his song.

That guy - 2014-01-26

...5 just for hating Juno

Old_Zircon - 2014-01-27

Juno is the worst.

Years ago I got free tickets to a preview screening of The Hottie and The Nottie. My girlfriend and friends couldn't hack it and drug me to see Juno across the hall. It was even worse, if that's possible, but not even in an entertainingly bad way.

spikestoyiu - 2014-01-27

Bold stance

That guy - 2014-01-27

don't want to be bold
just wanna hate Juno alotalotalotalot

sasazuka - 2014-01-26

Eh, I don't like Manic Pixie Dream Girls singing "la la la" type commercials in general, but this one is tolerable as it's a self-conscious parody, and I do like the "and I even wrote this song"/"No you didn't" bit with the shot of the TV commercial songwriter/music composer guy.

The "la la la" commercial I found more aggravating was the "Prius for Everyone" ad that got overplayed for two years, although I cut that commercial some slack as I found out that it was sung by an actual child and not just an adult woman doing a "cute" MPDG voice.

pyslexic dharmacist - 2014-02-02

iirc, that's a pretty deep voice for a child.

pyslexic dharmacist - 2014-02-02

(I love my Prius--mostly for the loathing they inspire from dudebro neocons--so I remember these things.)

sasazuka - 2014-02-02

Yeah, I thought it was an adult too, but, according to Toyota themselves, her name is Emily J. and she was 12 when she recorded the song.

RocketBlender - 2014-01-27

It's the last line that does it for me. I hate the way people use 'fail' and 'win' these days.

American Standard - 2014-01-27

So is every remotely perky twenty-something woman a "manic pixie dream girl," now?

Words have meanings.

dairyqueenlatifah - 2014-01-27

It's kind of catchy.

Besides, there are worse commercials for morning cuisine...

urbanelf - 2014-01-27

You were the client, weren't you?

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-01-29

I don't think this is bad enough nor good enough to belong here.
