More Bounce To The Ounce was the hit, but I might have liked his version of I Heard It through The Grapevine better. This seems to be half way between Kraftwerk and Zapp, Roger putting more soul into it versus robot.

There was a time when Roger and his vocoder was so popular that he visited WAMO radio when Zapp was in town. He was on Jackie Johnson's show with his vocoder on the mic in the studio, and you could hear keys on the vocoder being pressed.
