We're not playing Minecraft, we're doing fedora tricks.

blue vein steel - 2014-02-12

cognitivedissonance - 2014-02-12

For those of you that don't know, Aelric is an owner of many fedoras, and at least one Trilby.

duck&cover - 2014-02-12

Weeaboo AND fedora adorer. The one-two punch of nerdery.

だめだこれ

Hipsters and Sad Men have ruined fedoras forever.

Hooker - 2014-02-12

Ehhhhh. Better something that nobody had been using for decades than, like, something that might have found a good use.

Wander - 2014-02-12

If you look at his other videos it becomes clear that at least some of this is a put-on, but it's too well done to be entirely a joke.

Wander - 2014-02-12

Also I guess this is a good a place as any, what happened to the "baleen and old_zircon" video? It seems to have been vanished. Did someone take that joke too serious?

EvilHomer - 2014-02-12

It is now the me and Noam Chomsky video.

Wander - 2014-02-12

Aha, thank you. I wanted to show that to somebody.

mon666ster - 2014-02-12

So much sad in one video.

That guy - 2014-02-12

Good Christ man, go outside and play a sport for like a year.

Aelric - 2014-02-12

and hang up a picture!

EvilHomer - 2014-02-12

Have any of you encountered a man wearing a fedora in real life? Do you have any tips on what to do in such a situation? A fellow I work with has taken to wearing a fedora, and I'm at a loss as to how I should act around him now.

Do I pretend not to notice it? Do I try and be polite, and compliment the thing? How does one react to a fedora?

DavidBowiesLuckyTennisBall - 2014-02-12

I wear a fedora. The key is to not ask me if you can borrow the hat for a second and then try some of the tricks this idiot kid does, which results in the hat being dropped on the floor into mud and/or a puddle.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2014-02-12

Technically, I think that's a trilby, not a fedora, but it seems that the two are becoming synonymous these days.

Gmork - 2014-02-12

I was Alex from A Clockwork Orange one weekend (I have a nice outfit put together, bloody eyeball cufflinks and everything all im missing are the pletchtoes).

Point is, someone who saw that hat (it's a bowler) called it a Fedora. Basically anyone who isn't wearing a beanie or trucker cap is going to run into some kind of hat related bigotry. I only wear mine on halloween, mind you, but it's the principle of the thing!

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2014-02-12

It was interesting to find out that the bowler was the most common hat in the old west, not the stereotypical cowboy hat (at least before the 1870's). The photo of Bat Masterson wearing his on Wikipedia is quite dapper.

BHWW - 2014-02-12

Bitten by a radioactive fedora, he became REDDITMAN

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-02-17

Puberty has always been a minefield, even before you could film stuff and make it available for the world.
