I could swear this cop's lines were dubbed straight from Angel Cop. A double-dub, if you will.

Yeah, sounds about right.

I have this movie on VHS. I don't know why, I don't remember buying it. But hey, if it's got a guy in a big exoskeleton suit, a robot that can jump from roofs, and profanity, that's good enough for me!

(By the sheer amount of times I mention Timecop, I am obviously poeTV's movie connoisseur. Sloooowly tipping my fedor-oh crap it fell in the toilet. Don't ask.)

This film also features Brad Dourif playing a mad scientist who is pretty creepy, even for him.

fedex - 2014-03-03

he manages to bring new levels of creepy twitchiness to pretty much anything he touches

EDITING!

Old_Zircon - 2014-03-03

Name a part of this movie that isn't amazing, I dare you.

Kabbage - 2014-03-03

Well, I watched the 111-minute Director's Cut. The entire like hour from when she visits Brad Dourif in his otaku hovel to when they get into the elevator is nightmarishly dry.

Not counting the first appearance by Death Machine, where he's hunting the CEO through the hallways, because that part completely rules.

Old_Zircon - 2014-03-03

There was a shorter version?

Kabbage - 2014-03-04

Apparently the theater and TV versions of the movie removed the whole psycho-technocreep-was-secretly-the-baby-whose-arm-CEO-mangled-in- a-garbage-disposal-unit subplot, which, while surely a loss, might have gone over better with the group I watched the movie with.
