I, too, hated Archer once, but I was convinced eventually to give it a second chance, and I'm glad I did.

Yeah, I saw this in the hopper and figured someone dug around on this guy's page. This certainly has the short & sweet quality, but I must say the lack of a text-to-speech narrator is a disappointment.

In Medieval times, no warrior was more feared than the dual-class archer / jester.

That depends on whether the jester song ability is treated as persistent or not. If medieval DMs disallowed lingering/persistent songs, and required their jesters to use full round actions to maintain their song, then the archer dual was just wasted levels.

Of course, saving throws vs spell were pretty low back then, so I guess archer/jesters could get away with taking only a couple of levels of Bard and using their song on an every-third-round basis.
