People who worship the corpse of a Hollywood actor who campaigned for president using slogans from his movies are outraged, don't know what cognitive dissonance is.
It's similar to how the GOP went nuts when a Marine was holding an umbrella for Obama when he was giving a speech in the rain. They were affronted that this fighting man was no doubt being forced to do so by having his dog held at gunpoint or something... until numerous photos of Marines doing the same for other presidents in the rain were paraded in front of their stupid, stupid faces.
They still make Obama teleprompter snarks, even though I can find scads of photos from CPAC 2014 alone that have teleprompters next to every damn podium.
I was about to point this out. There's something to be said about a very slow, careful breakdown of Between Two Ferns, to the point where he has to explain the actual being between two ferns.
I'm imagining that his Fischer's audience is a group of christian androids capable of learning complex day to day tasks, but incapable of inferring anything. They need to be programmed.
