Literally the worst

I have had this on VHS since before the SA review made it infamous. I remember watching it on a lark with some friends in high school. Such a mind warping experience. Parts are extremely boring, but the whole thing is just so damned weird.
I think if I described the plot to someone without using the obvious ET ripoff angle, I would say, "An asshole pile of snot and trash uses magic to destroy all the pottery in an African village while screeching 'MIIIIKO!' over and over."
