There's not a single good thing going on in that clip.

TeenerTot - 2014-03-18

I've not seen this movie. Am I to assume that some sort of near-death experience involving cats gave her mad baller skillz?

bluiker - 2014-03-18

Well, if there's one thing cats are known for, it's being good at basketball.

This is my niece's favorite movie. She says it is the best movie ever made. Whenever she recommends a movie to us, we always ask her if it's as good as Catwoman.

themilkshark - 2014-03-18

Why did it zoom in on the hoop like that

chumbucket - 2014-03-18

she gets pregnant from this

Hooker - 2014-03-18

It's a nice companion piece to the equally - and in the same way - horrible playground fight between Elektra and Daredevil. Although, the latter unfortunately didn't kill Ben Affleck's career _absolutely_ dead.

oddeye - 2014-03-18

Isn't he in the new batman movie? I'm not going to watch it because I can't stand looking at his face.

Old_Zircon - 2014-03-18

1:11-1:12 pretty much sums it up.

TheOtherCapnS - 2014-03-18

God, the editing is seizure-inducing.

sosage - 2014-03-18

It's not so much "action editing" as "get through this horrendous scene as quickly as possible" editing. The editor is trying to do us a huge favor, while not losing his job.

Prickly Pete - 2014-03-18

I heard about this on How Did This Get Made. Good to see it in all of it's horrible awkward glory. Merely talking about it did not do it justice.

I don't know how people can listen to HDTGM without having seen the movie in question. I listened to their Fair Game podcast when I simply hadn't seen the movie in 10+ years and felt like I was missing out completely.

FABIO - 2014-03-18

Their early stuff was a lot better in allowing listeners to follow along even if they hadn't seen the movie.

Over time they got more and more obsessed with mulling over insignificant plot points (the absolute low point was the "family tree" discussion for Sleepaway Camp) that it's hard to follow or care.

supposedly, the DNA of this film can be traced back to Tim Burton's stubborn insistence after "Batman Returns" to direct either the next Batman film or a spin-off featuring his conception of a feminist metaphor/liberated woman i.e. a violent, leather-suit wearing sex kitten as played by Michelle Phieffer.

-Burton has a diva fit about this so Warner Bros. decides to cut him loose from the Batman project and go with the far more, shall we say 'servile' Schumacher for Batman & Robin, then spent the next few years trying to dig the franchise out of the rubble left with B&R was met with a less than pleased response, and try to figure out how to do a Batman V

-The proposed "Batman Vs. Superman" film project that had been considered back then self-destructs and Warner Bros. basically digs around in the wastebaskets until they come across the 12-year old Burton spinoff story treatment

-Warner then has this musty Burton spinoff story treatment filtered through several in-house staff writers and script doctors to "update" it and what comes out the other end after being rewritten and re-rewritten by like twenty people is this thing, you can see how it went from "mousy secretary discovers her boss' illegal doings and is shoved out of a window, is revived by alley cats" to, eventually "wimpy secretary with no life who sets out on her own to dig up the secret files of her boss's evil plans involving toxic cold cream, dies and returns from the other side with mystical powers of the goddess Bast, because of the ancient prophecy that cats will bring back the spirits of the dead for revenge."

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-03-20

This movie cost more to make than any of us will earn in our entire lives. Money well spent, if you ask me.
