Alpha Flight was an effort to create an off-beat, intriguing team of Canadian superheroes, but the results ended up decidedly second-string. Even their enemies were pretty sub par, like Smart Alec (a bad guy named Alec with an intelligence-enhancing helmet).

Gotta love how the "no actual violence, this is a kiddie show" center of Wolverine's brain kicked in and rather than swiping the owl-lady across the face with his adamantium claws, he threw some dirt in her eyes.

The original notion was that Puck was a deformed guy who was a master acrobat. Since then, it has been revealed that he is 100 years old and he used to be 7 feet tall, but his body is now holding in a demon and that's why he seems to be deformed.
Wolverine is a metaphor for the Canadian health care system.

So many super-powered sets of fraternal twins whose powers depend on them touching each other. DC had the Wonder Twins, Marvel has Northstar and Aurora, and also the Fenris twins. Oh, and Ultimate Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver decided to forego any semblance of subtext entirely and would just fuck, which Ultimate Wasp apparently thinks is okay.

Bort - 2014-06-19 You think you're making a funny, but Beta Flight was the team of characters who weren't good enough to make Alpha Flight. There was also a Gamma Flight (I don't know anything about them), and an Omega Flight (bad guys).

I loved how this show went to extraordinary lengths to avoid having Wolverine ever give anyone the slightest scratch with his claws.

Nominal - 2014-04-09 Robots were open season. Against people, he always just sliced their guns in half, all guns were lasers that could be passed off as stun settings.
God, every time I forget how bad the animation was, some clip here reminds me. Half this show was Professor X screaming or Wolverine growling.
