Other websites get a pass, but youtube and poetv sync up pretty well and for the most part I see Bort and Ashtar cleaning up the mess via resubmssions.

How do you not have bold. How can that even be a thing. Not only have I never "installed" bold, I don't think I could uninstall it if I tried. I think you are making that up to make the rest of us look like opulent bourgeois wastrels with our extra pixels making letters emphatic when there are people sleeping in their cars without even any serifs and only times new roman.

poeTV is so close to being a perfect site. It just needs a handful of little tweaks and fixes.

On my list: comments have dates / comments replaced by more robust system. Maybe like a mini forum for each video post. Get emails when replied to, etc. Replacing with Disqus or similar seems like the easiest method.

Also, I want to test Bort's claim for making bold tags appear with 60 chars and a line break....

Most systems have bold installed as standard, like US English comes standard and such. Unfortunately I stood on my motherboard when putting my machine together and crushed the chip that holds the ability to see bold. So now I don't have it, which is one of the reasons I like the old ass code on PoETV.

Italics are still ok but some of the letters show up backwards. Don't even get me started on underline!!

Get the 80687 math coprocessor, it should take care of your text-decoration problems.

Ya by Portland standards my hair's pretty short here, but I've gotten it cut since then. :) You coming back to Portland for the Holidays? Most of my friends aren't from here and I turn out playing pinball alone at some dive bar, whatever's open, really. One year I got asked if I was Russell Brand and I didn't know who he was but I went along with it anyway. Because Russell Brand spends Christmas alone at a dive bar in Portland Oregon and not with Katy Perry (which I found out later.) I gave them my autograph and everything (although I spelled it "Brandt.") The Christmas season is the opposite of the Thanksgiving season for many of us natives. Nobody has time to go home for Thanksgiving so they have "orphan thanksgivings," but everyone I've gotten to know usually gets to go home for Christmas, and I'm stuck running into a few people from Cleveland who recognize me but I don't recognize them and it's awkward, if anybody at all :)

999,999 stars for ashtar for cancelling out my one star. I didn't really want to do this, but it's become a problem and I was drunk. Plus, if you click away from poetv.com and on to some other site, away goes the ads at the top (usually for wolf urine but still they're unintrusive and ostensibly keep the site running.)

It's fine if there's something important that has to be linked to huffington post or cnn, but most of those videos can be watched embedded too. I've said it before but I've been with poe since the oldmanmurray days and I want to continue to see it, as it's pretty much the only thing that keeps me relatively sane.
