go ahead and put your one-stars here, and remain in a receptacle of shame for the rest of your lives.

"I have an idea..."

I'm a sucker for metacomedy.

Has anyone seen a good chunk of Review? I like Andy Daly, but I didn't really care for the clip or two I've seen of the show.

chairsforcheap - 2014-05-01

it's really good, but starts stronger than it ends. It's fucking great. Watch it alll.

chairsforcheap - 2014-05-01

it gets sadder and sadder is all i'll say, so watch it

Crab Mentality - 2014-05-02

Now is a good time for you to ask about it, because every episode except the season finale is on comedy central's youtube page.

Also, Review is great.

Bort - 2014-05-02

"Review" is pretty brilliant, but man does it go dark. It's one thing to put Forrest MacNeil through some abuse, but they really, really rip him apart.

Bort - 2014-05-02

Though I just watched the finale, and it ended on a more hopeful note than I expected them to. Series finale where the long suffering star might get a happy ending -- five stars.

That guy - 2014-05-04

Finally saw the first 5 episodes. I'm enjoying.

Binro the Heretic - 2014-05-02

One star MOSTLY to spite chairsforcheap.

But there's also a tinge of bitterness since I'd find this bit more amusing if so many other "comedians" had not built careers solely doing this sort of thing.

(Dane Cook, I'm looking at you)

That guy - 2014-05-02

Good God, you're deeply confused if you're lumping him with Dane Cook and 1-starring.

Execution matters. The execution here is damn great if not perfect.

Binro the Heretic - 2014-05-02

I'm not "lumping him with Dane Cook". He's mocking people like Dane Cook, to be sure, but the joke falls flat with me because people like Dane Cook are able to become highly successful doing the thing he's mocking them for. And it goes on and on past the point of being clever.

In short, if I wanted to see a routine like this, I would be watching Dane Cook. Make with the funny, already, Mister Joke Man.

oswaldtheluckyrabbit - 2014-05-02

"Make with the funny, already, Mister Joke Man"

I think we have a winner for old lady-est comment of all time

That guy - 2014-05-02

I am not claiming this is The Best Thing Ever, but I have no idea what the hell this means:

"He's mocking people like Dane Cook, to be sure, but the joke falls flat with me because people like Dane Cook are able to become highly successful doing the thing he's mocking them for."

So if someone can make a bunch of money at it, then they're beyond mockery?

Binro the Heretic - 2014-05-02

So, if a guy had a wildly popular act based solely on shoving mashed potatoes down his pants then going "DURR! DURR! DURRRRR!" and another guy "mocked" him by shoving mashed potatoes down his pants then going "DURR! DURR! DURRRRR!" would that then be funny?

Too many comedians these days say non-funny shit in an animated fashion and get tons of money for doing so for me to find this funny.

chairsforcheap - 2014-05-02

hahahaah what planet are you from

oswaldtheluckyrabbit - 2014-05-02

"Too many comedians these days say non-funny shit in an animated fashion and get tons of money for doing so for me to find this funny."

Name some

infinite zest - 2014-05-03

It's the delivery. Take the movie that made you cry the most and put a Laugh track over it.

infinite zest - 2014-05-03

Also Robin Williams

That guy - 2014-05-03

You think he's mocking Dane Cook, or the thousands of hackneyed comedians who did the same tired schtick for decades?

Bort I'd never seen that link. Awesome.

chumbucket - 2014-05-02

These comments are just unbelievable. Just crazy. What are you gonna do, you know? God.

deadpan - 2014-05-02

I mean this video, did you see the video? The video on the internet? And the comments, oh man. I saw the comments and just was like, wow. This guy knows what I'm talking about, yeah! So anyway...

chumbucket - 2014-05-02

stuff these days...crazy

jreid - 2014-05-02

I don't get the joke, so I'm two-starring based solely on the annoying forced cackle of the cow holding the camera.

Without her this would definitely be one star.

Old_Zircon - 2014-05-02

I don't know who either of the people mentioned in the title are.

infinite zest - 2014-05-02

point of the joke is that there isn't a joke. It's pretty genius but I'm surprised people at a comedy club found it so hilarious.

James Woods - 2014-05-02

I highly recommend the podcast "Comedy Bang Bang" as well as "The Andy Daly Pilot Podcast Project".

Old_Zircon - 2014-05-02

Oh, he's the Comedy Bang Bang guy, that's right. I knew I recognized his name. I think I heard some of that on here recently.

infinite zest - 2014-05-02

That and The Review and Kroll Show. He's probably the funniest comedian working right now.

infinite zest - 2014-05-02

Five stars for Daly, but this worked better on the Comedy Death Ray album with the fake laughter.

infinite zest - 2014-05-03

Do you know that he's Carson Daly's brother? Because what. Shut the front door rite guys?
