Five for derp.

So wait the government took all his money in 1970, and now it's 100x worse? I don't think this fellow's good with math.

Mimi!

boner - 2014-05-20

I didn't watch this video, but I'm aware that last month she was performing with Tim Meadows and Jon Lovitz in Flint, Michigan. That must have been the saddest thing.

Shanghai Tippytap - 2014-05-20

tim meadows, chris kattan, and rob schneider are doing a pathetic has-been show at my town sometime soon. i wouldn't mind being a fly on the wall of whatever applebees is across from their motel that night.

Miss Henson's 6th grade class - 2014-05-20

Hey, I like John Lovitz

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2014-05-20

Lovitz as "The Critic" or as a supporting cast member? He's great.

I've never seen him in a starring role that was enjoyable.

Bort - 2014-05-20

Tim Meadows is awesome, and in a perfect world he wouldn't have to perform with this bunch.

It's been about a million years but I liked High School High. I actually liked Ladies Man too. It seemed like one of the first SNL films that was like "ok we're actually going to turn this little sketch into a movie again really!?!!" It was handled well, in many ways better than Waynes World which hammed up the whole fourth wall breaking thing too much for me.

infinite zest - 2014-05-20

Looking at the High School High trailer again, I might have to take that back. Sucky thing is I lived super close to the original home of Kentucky Fried Theatre when I was living in Madison. What happened to the Zuckers? I mean, besides Ghost, Rat Race.. :(

infinite zest - 2014-05-20

Ladies Man I stick with. It was kind of the first in that new wave of millennial comedy that would become popular with Anchorman and Zoolander, for better or worse.

It's always kind of nice to imdb or wikipedia people like Chris Kattan, assuming that they've fallen off the planet but finding out that they're on broadway or something. I couldn't have been more than 14 or something, but I was in NYC and all the broadway shows were sold out except for Forum (aka a funnything happened on the way to the forum) because Nathan Lane had a stand-in for a couple weeks: The stand in was Cousin Larry from Perfect Strangers. And he was awesome.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2014-05-20

Whatever happened to the Zuckers? They made the "Scary Movie" franchise, and if that wasn't bad enough, David Zucker became a right wing 9/11 Conservative and completely lost what little sense of comedy he had remaining and made "An American Carol," a "conservative comedy" that grossed million on a budget of million:

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2014-05-21

Scary Movie was the Wayans Brothers

Hailey2006 - 2014-05-21

The Wayans originally did it, but they got sick of doing those films so they gave it to Zuckers!

Miss Henson's 6th grade class - 2014-05-21

The gag in "High School High" where the vending machine dispenses a bottle of malt liquor with already wrapped in a paper bag was pretty good, though.

infinite zest - 2014-05-21

That part was funny.. I can't remember if it came out before or after Don't Be a Menace which had kind of the same joke.. people pouring 40s for their homies and they're just right there in a pile. Oh to be young and listen to Gin and Juice, not knowing what Gin and Juice really was yet.

infinite zest - 2014-05-20

Remember when Victoria Jackson was funny?

Me neither.

Gmork - 2014-05-20

5 for how uncomfortable and depressed seeing her makes me.

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-05-21

Her schtick on SNL was being a dumb blond. Now she's a dumber fatter blond.

infinite zest - 2014-05-21

I was about to say that she was pretty funny when she kind of couldn't keep it together in the Matt Foley sketch, but that was Christina Applegate. If I recall she did a decent Sally Struthers but other than that, pretty useless as a person with an actual fictional character attached to them. I can imagine a lot of comediennes were pretty pissed that she got the part, given that she was most famous prior to SNL as a girl who would recite poetry while doing headstands.

Bort - 2014-05-20

The White People Ghost Dance is finally, finally running out of steam.

cognitivedissonance - 2014-05-21

5 fucking stars of glory for the metaphor I've been looking for.

Bort - 2014-05-21

It's not a Bort original, but it needs to see more play.

Quad9Damage - 2014-05-21

Her voice and the shit that comes out of her mouth makes me want to strangle a soul to death.

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-05-21

What a tragically unappealing and abhorrent human being.
