I thought that lighting charcoal with only paper was a newly discovered method, I learned about it with the instructions with my little grill. Here it's been known about for decades, and yet people are still using lighter fluid?
I ball up newspaper and pack it in under the bottom small rack, put regular charcoal on top of the rack, then light through the holes in the bottom with a lighter, it works fine every time. I don't have to get checked through when buying fluid at the store now either.
