She never quite foresaw that Mexico is the most capitalist state that could ever be, so capitalist that the only option to survive is flight.
Well, it doesn't help that wild huge rampant corruption dominates Mexico. You could say corruption comes along with capitalism but trust me, not on the levels of Mexico.
