The whole reason I got a cat to begin with was those old brownstones were just crawling with TOS Enterprise personnel every autumn. You could trap them, but they just came right back. Fucking transporter or something, shuttle craft? I don't know... but the cat did the job. All that wwould be left was the little red suit and perhaps the feet.

I think these are yours.

This might be the worst episode they ever did.

I showed it on Halloween as part of a broadcast with the Satan-cult episode of Walker: Texas Ranger and Yokai Monsters: Spook Warfare. I had to cut out almost the entire middle to make it watchable.

It starts with Kirk and the boyz being visited by three ghosts on a planet's surface. They follow the trail of breadcrumbs to a literal haunted mansion, where they are captured and chained up in a dungeon, right beside a skeleton hanging from similar chains. The cat lady gloats for a while until Kirk seduces her and sleeps with her, then organizes their escape. She follows, and transforms into an actual black cat for the finale.

And in the end, both aliens turn into fishing lures.

I don't think I remember this episode, but at least I know where Team America got the joke from now.

Okay, I actually had to look up the episode to make sure this wasn't an edit and you were bullshitting. That's an impressively bad episode.

I first saw this episode when I was seven and it made me roll my eyes.

It made a seven-year-old kid who loved it when Godzilla used his atomic breath as rocket propulsion to fly roll his eyes.

It is very bad.

Would you believe, before they enhanced the visual effects, this used to look stupid.

Could use a "Robert Bloch" tag, though this is far from his finest work.

I remember my dad telling me, 'don't worry, it's not really a giant cat'.
